For me that's the UK, but I'm afraid that thru allt he fugs, and especially the economical and criminal ones, the UK ain't as hospitable as it used to be.
One time a man I met in a hostel even lended me 200 pound, because I ran out of money and my banquecard wasn't working in the UK.
Of course I returned the money as soon as I was back in the Netherlands.
When I was cycling through the UK my bike went broke and a friendly elder man spended almost all his saturday by driving me to a bikestore, get my bike repaired and he even paid for food and drinks while waiting. He didn't want to accept my money.

A lot of countries can learn from it, how it can be pleasant in your own country, and to all the muslims, I would say, beahve yourself or go back to where you belong. You are not invited, don't act as if you own the country.

UK, you stole my heart

mikey4691: America.. We seem to let anything in here..
We do take in more people than any other country in the world. Currently at 1.4 million per year. And we are the 3rd most populated.

But of course we don't (technically) have open borders, so we make a big distinction between (legal) Immigrants, who come through the Department of Imigration, at their own expense and accord and Illegal Aliens, who walk in.
(Which is the legal term, here)
And what the Left, & our government & (the interfering) UN, tries to convince us are roll eyes "Refugees" ... (We have our own, 5 point, legal deffinition).

Hospitality may have gone out the window, or down the toilet, unless you know, their legal status.

Too many natural born Americans are below the poverty level & women, children & veterans living in the streets.

In 2008, Mitt Romney said, 44% of Americans recieved government or state aid, he was correct. (And the Lefist media tore him apart).
Imagine what it is now, with non Americans and their hand out (Unlike our ancestors). mumbling

When we are officially at war.. (and probably a draft), they will bring in "War refugees" (again), for taxpapers to take care of.

And they wonder where the middle class has gone frustrated

Centuries of peace on an island with mild weather. One thing to cling onto in these difficult times is how incredibly unEnglish expressing your emotion is.

I don't understand what you mean by that.

Sorry if my English ain't perfect.
And all the people who are always saying it's always raining in the UK, they're mad, in all the times I've been in the UK, I had maybe 5 totally rainy days, other days no rain or only a shower for about 25 minutes.

Well, hold on to a Brexit with a good end after maybe 2-3 years and others will follow.
You English people were completely right by voting for a Brexit.
The EU makes it difficult for the UK to leave, they're scared as hell other west-european countries will follow. Well, I hope the Netherlands will when it appears the Brexit is the best choice for the UK.

Gonna get a beer and drink to your health.

i have traveled a little bit, and most often folks are very kind and helpful no matter what country.
several years ago, my son and i had the good fortune of visiting nepal.
rarely have we visited in a place where so many of the people shared such a generosity of spirit.
i think of their kindness often.

I can't say that any one country is more hospitable. Every one I have been to has had both polite and helpful people as well as rude and aggressive. Its the people we encounter.

robplum: I had R&R there, went though USA Military arrangement, had to be physically pushed on the bus in Atami to return Vietnam. Later flew Seattle Japan and enjoyed free hotel cause flight landed as connecting flight took off and arrangement made in Seattle hehehe
The R&R hotel in Atami US$128.00 came with running hot and cold professionals, free booze chits, free meals and a couple of bus trips to, I took one bus trip up into the Mountains and i have to say I enjoyed every bit of what was freely offered including eight baths and two showers in one night; continuous o*gasm for males is like rare earth...
The Japanese were very helpful, i had buttons missing on coat trying to explain to shop and customer (all just Japanese speak) gave mouth full to shop keeper and customer sewed buttons on....very very good, I took bullet train and went to PX in Yokohama I think so was good experience...truly i was forced onto a bus as I wanted to stay and not go back Vietnam.
Some images taken during my R&R 1967 retrieved from old slides that some how survived.. First and last photos of Atami, two images taken up in the mountains (they gave us motor bikes for an hour to go where you liked their, next two images taken from inside speeding bullet train, last main street of Atmai
Cool story. Thanks for sharing Rob. wave
