I think what we want from life changes as we grow within ourselves and as we mature. In the last year I discovered a new path that had absolutely never even occurred to me. It's exciting and terrifying at the same time. Yes I think we do sabotage ourselves consciously and unconsciously. A lot has to do with how we see ourselves, and sometimes it's just that we're in a rut. It does not matter what we did or wanted in our life in the past because all we can change is tomorrow as what really matters is what we want to do today for tomorrow.

Past is ours and we can not change it; but we can learn from our experience and change the route of our journey, and not repeating the same mistakes. Our actions today can reflect in what we can change for tomorrow.
By knowing what I don't want makes me more aware of what I want, as I dont have to deal with the negativeness of those "not wanting": It allows me to concentrating in what I want.
