NICE Thread Jac I like Susan Hampshire, Joanna Lumley & Carol Kirkwood very much - and I Know Susan & Joanna from when I was a part time Pro drummer & did gigs in the Last century,
BUT - There is also One lady on here in Europe whom I would like to come here - PLUS I would not mind trying to know YOU TOO Gorgeous Jac XX
Yeah too right - Joanna is a lovely woman. We got on especially as we both have military backgrounds. The Civvy big Band I played with when we first met & chatted consisted of some ex RAF Central Band, Parachute Regiment & Royal Marines Deal based musicians. What I found about her is that under her super english accent she is totally classless, down to earth, with a wicked SoH & doesn't suffer ill-bred would be's & snobs gladly.
galrads: I’m to a point in my life where less is more. I dig food, humor, lifestyle, good company and traditions instead of lust, money or seeing everything.
Can you not have community and culture unless you live on an island?
Are islands necessarily free from lust, money, or seeing everything?
Easy and impossible are two very different things.
I'm currently looking to create change, so this has struck a chord with me.
I was just thinking I've got a real mental block with starting and then realised that I started over a year ago, but it feels like very slow progress indeed.
I think perhaps change can be exponential in it's progress, so inevitably it feels less probable at the beginning.
Maybe the next few steps aren't as difficult as they have become in my mind.

Sometimes I have to totally clear the mechanism (head space) of distortions and inhibitions, those owned and foreign. My difficulty with change is removing that current mask to become whatever I want to become next.

That's interesting terminology.
I'd like to know what you mean by your current mask, but I feel conscious that this is a public forum and it might be too intrusive to ask.

I love this kind of discussion, though.
I like masks but I’d rather not get into my own current mask but the concept is similar to how I interpret a color drawing of the three sisters in my home. Do they compliment each other, mirror each other or promote each other to be different.
