Didja all have a good and safe July 4th?

I even bought some new fireworks for the occasion!

The Crazy Bernie (you gotta keep an eye on this one, it's weird and you never know what it's gonna do)

The Nervous Nancy (this one's just nasty, and real jittery)

And the Sleepy Joe (this one was a waste. No power, no spark, no nuthin')

watched what our news programme put on. Shame it rained but enjoyed it.
We have those pomp and ceremony days too, everyone on holiday chilling and watching there service men and women put on a show brilliant.

Just another day. I didn't go up to DC to watch the festivities even though I'm only about 70 miles away. 95 North was quite heavy though. I didn't watch any of it on TV either, total bore. yawn

I traveled to Des Moines, Iowa to spend the extended weekend with my guy, our last moments together for a long while.
He is boarding a plane "as we speak" to serve our country for a year.

Hey there lovie--My Fourth was one of the best--I got invited up the hill (where the crust lives) to a great house party - folk music band played Irish and other Celtic all afternoon, I played a little but it was great (less is more) had smoked salmon, jalapeno cream cheese, pita with hummus, mini-tostadas. that was just the hors d'oeurves, then chicken kabobs, ribs, at least four kinds of salad, key lime pie, beer, that's all I remember. They have a sweeping view from a huge wrap-around deck with a "vista" view of our gorgeous bay. (money all swirling around me and I'm limping along on retirement and pension--what a life!) No prob--I try to be always grateful. Thanks for asking about the holiday--hugs to you, as everteddybear

What would be nice if America was completely independent and keep
your nose out of the rest of the worlds business, just keep to your own bullying
small minded, bible bashing , arrogant country.
With a bit of luck, Trump will keep winding up China and they will
nuke you and the world will finally be free of interfering twats. very mad
