Coastal areas: Between NewLiberia & NewOrleans will be hit with a Cat-1, Friday night or Saturday morning
Mississippi river, is already too high & Biblical rains: 10-15 MORE inches is expected

Hurricane Barry Expected for Gulf Coast
A hurricane is now forecast to form this week and make landfall on the gulf coast in Louisiana or #Texas this weekend.
According to the National Hurricane Center, the current low pressure system Invest 92L is forecast to become Hurricane Barry late this week, with winds reaching a maximum of 85 mph. Possible landfall sites according to the forecast include much of the Louisiana Coast and some of the eastern Texas coast. The storm is predicted to bring 6-12 inches of rain to the central gulf coast, with 18 inches possible locally. This could produce flooding in New Orleans and other areas. A tropical storm watch and a storm surge watch have now been issued for parts of southeastern #Louisiana. Other coastal states affected by the storm could include #Mississippi, #Alabama, and #Florida.
