I’ve met a few. Some thousands of miles away. And... we’re still friends! 
Never. Not here or anywhere. I am not here for that.
I haven't met anybody in person yet, but the hair stylist in Timbuktu I keep putting money on a Walmart card for promises she will come to the US soon to marry me.

I used to think I had to join singles networks, then discovered a setUp MeetUp, and was soon out and about with groups of people, just people who wanted to go have tacos or a hike or fishing . . .My favorite was the crochet group!

I've met a few. Most were just a bit 'odd'. Many were nice people, just not for me. One or two were definitely a 9 on the Bunny Boiler scale and I have met one or two I would have been very interested in but ..... they didn't like me.

Reality is, I took a cross country vacation, to see several things, more of a pilgrimage. Along the way were several of my online pals. Since I was in their neighborhood, I gave them the option of a f2f. NOW you have me laughing too and I don't even know these people! LOL

I have a ton of great photos and memories to go with them.
And, yes. I still talk to many of them. Although, a couple have since passed. I miss their wit.

I've been on meetup, found it remarkable . You never know what youre getting until you arrive though. Some are super others are quite strange.
