YARMOUTH - A Yarmouth man is going to have to make a court appearance after an accidental call to 911 led to an unusual discovery by authorities.

An August 5th, a mis-dialled call to 911 led to members responding to a home, and while they were checking to ensure there was no emergency, officers found 100 firearms on the property. That number included 94 long guns, and six handguns, none of which were properly secured.

The homeowner was arrested without incident for unsafe storage of a firearm, and police seized all the weapons. The person was later released, and is scheduled to appear in Yarmouth Provincial Court in October.

The investigation is ongoing.

Yes and now he will have to shell out big bucks to a Lawyer if he want's to get his guns back. And if we go by what's in the article it looks like it could be for for unnecessary charges.
Making it ridiculously expensive to keep & bear arms here in the States is one of the tactics the left is trying to impose on us Americans.
But hey, you Canadians carry on and let them take all your guns to. I'm sure the bears & wolves will thank you for all the unarmed citizens they can devour with impunity. help

It is all my fault I am sooo sorry
Strange hobby to have you guns just laying around but I should have warned him to take better care next time
The people in his province are heavy into fishing and hunting, the cops know this very well, so I assume they saw things are not being up to snuff..........
