Conundrum.....

"A gun is like a parachute. If you need one, and don't have one. You'll probably never need one again."

The definition of the word Conundrum is: Something that is puzzling or confusing.

Here are six Conundrums of Socialism in the United States of America:

1. America is capitalist and greedy - yet half of the population is subsidized.

2. Half of the population is subsidized - yet they think they are victims.

3. They think they are victims - yet their representatives run the government.

4. Their representatives run the government - yet the poor keep getting poorer.

5. The poor keep getting poorer - yet they have things that people in other Countries only dream about.

6. They have things that people in other countries only dream about, yet they want America to be more like those other countries.

7. Think about it! And that, my friends, pretty much sums up the USA in the 21st Century.

Makes you wonder who is doing the math. By the way.....

1. We are advised to NOT judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics. Funny how that works. And here's another one worth considering...

2. Seems we constantly hear about how Social Security is going to run out of money. But we never hear about welfare or food stamps running out of money? What's interesting is the first group "worked for" their money, but the second didn't.

Think about it... and pass it on.

Bankers, farmers and most of your small businesses are subsidised. And then by extension so is everybody else. Your bureaucracy is massive also.

But all these bureaucrats and inflated income become your profit margins and market. The customers you have and the prices you charge go up and effectively you’re all accustomed to every third dollar coming for free. Even the best of business captures more market than it merits.

And that summarizes 99% of the folk on welfare! It was intended to be a temporary help until a guy could get back on his feet, but now it is cradle to grave welfare and they consider it discrimination if they have to work though it is an excellent reason to be hating on blacks. Then these people wonder why they never get ahead.dunno

And it’s a dicey mechanism for every third dollar coming for free. Cheap credit and loans that should never be pay your way.

Even the right realised some years ago that the value of most people’s labour was too low and you needed a way to spread wealth around in a billionaires economy. It’s one reason to support earned income tax credits which many on the right do. Now every third dollar coming for free was a little rich but you still have a distribution problem set to get worse with the onset of automation and AI. Main Street could not survive without a little socialism.

dollar profit equals dollar loss

U.S. Debt by Year Since 1929

As of 2019, the U.S. national debt was more than $22 trillion, which is greater than the economic output of the entire country. It occurred despite Congressional attempts to cut government spending.
