As i said above,if you've not seen him face to face you should be a little careful.Depends on your feelings to him too.Maybe you could arrange to meet in a public place if you're up to it,just so you'll be safe,then you can build up your trust in him and see where it goes.

we did try to meet up last weekend but on his way down here he had a little accident in his car he got shunted so the police had to tow him back home again!

How convenient that on the way to see you he had an accident and was towed by the police or whatever, I think you need to wake up

Sometimes I worry that because we really want someone to love or like us we don't see the warning signs others do. And I think it's more than sensible if you have a niggling doubt to ask other people what they think.
Anyway the police would never tow you home, They may tow you in handcuffs down the station to book you in, but they leave the towing home to the people who tow
Just been checking that out in a google search - didn't want to open my big mouth before I knew what the facts were and from my research it's definately a no-no!!! The only time the police are involved in towing a vehicle is to a police pound - and the majority of the time it is undertaken on behalf of the police by a private company. So Nikki just be extra careful, please!

i don`t know exactly if it was the police that towed him home he just said that they were there an had to b towed home. oh dear

If this was your best friend what would you say to her? Nobody can tell you what to do, only give you the advice of stay safe and if anything at all niggles you about the situation then call it a day! There are some people out in the world who simply don't deserve the trust they're given - I'm not implying anything here about your gentleman friend at all - but there wouldn't be as many people on this site for a start if the partner they originally settled down with were as nice as they led us to believe!
It's the first time that I've heard of the police towing someone home after an incident, I usually thought that a recovery truck had to come and pich the vehicle up after an accident if it wasn't fit to be on the road????
