Global trauma over loss of habitat, pandemics, bee die-offs, global warming, specie loss, rising seas, intensifying catastrophes. The endless litany of photos of marine pollution, the drum beat of the biblical end of days. Is it all getting too much for you? How do you handle the psychological stress, the angst of eco-anxiety Is this our most modern global malaise?

I don't suffer from any malaise.
Remember to stay in the MOMENT. Yesterday is only today's memory and tomorrow is just today's dream.
Actually, I do suffer from some of the things you mention. And the stress takes it's toll on my body in painful ways.
I'm appalled how much trash is in the ocean. Trash that people are too lazy to put in a bag and bring back to shore for the trash can.
I am worried about the icebergs melting. I don't think it will happen in my lifetime but if the sun is in a bad mood someday and the icebergs melt too fast the oceans will be at our doorstep and it didn't even take a hurricane to do it.
I like fish but I do worry about pollution from boat engines and/or actual pollution that people take out to the middle of the ocean to dump.
I also worry that if Trump wins the election we will get in another war and our brave men and women will die because he is mentally unstable.

I also care about the things you mention... The sea life..the pollution...the rain forests disappearing and the orangutans losing their habitat etc. But it doesn't keep me awake at night worrying about it.
I do my bit to look after mother nature the best I can.

No, ... no anxiety... I think about it on occasions but other than that I just mosey along doing my own thing...
I grow a few vegetables and some fruit trees for myself.. I have two chickens... do my bit for the environment....
My motto is always do the best that you can in whatever situation you are in... can't ask more than that... I be behind and cheer on anyone who can make things better for the world, cause I can't I don't have the power to change things...

Just being realistic... and I don't get on very well with people who are *Doom and Gloom* about everything... just not my style..
Besides I have enough to worry about.. hard to get decent contractors that actually turn up for work, they are most likely playing two-up in the pub and get them to work more than 3 hrs at a time when they do actually turn up... .. LOL.. I want my ocean side place finished.. yesterday...

We all have the power to change things with our consumer power.
If we choose what to buy and not to buy the market changes to meet demand.
