Impressed, I have so far managed 8 hours without a ciggie, and that was because I was on a flight, not a nice person when I arrived and found no smoking allowed in Shanghai airport, had to go outside into the snow just to feed the addiction.

I am using the patch, it really do take care of the cravings. The hardest part is the habit part itself, you are so used to having a smoke between your fingers and puffing on it, for the first few weeks, its going to seem strange not doing that anymore. I'm starting to get adjusted now though which is alright.

hiya still Track,
i've quit a couple times over the years...but long ago. each tougher than the previous. i'm really struggling this time. i figure at some point, the anxiety about smoking will override the smoking and i will quit. there's zero enjoyment in it now. i've managed to cut down significantly...but need to quit.
i've been told to hold off on the patch for a bit due to some current medical treatments (chelation). soon i will.... i have them. been told to just use a quarter of one when i start using them.

i love that you aren't smoking.
i really do!!

Ciggs are a waste, there is no buzz or anything, just addiction. A pack of cheap smokes at the corner store here is around $14 a pack, something like Export A is around $17 - $18 a pack. Its gross.

We will support each other in our efforts to quit conversing wave

Good job hang in there. I approached my quitting (many years ago) very Zen like. I embraced the urge but didn't succumb to it. That was fun!
