I have seen many disable people are in a relationship.

Yesterday I saw a man in a wheel chair with his lover paying her telephone bill.

Look at the TV program " my 500 lbs life" they all are in a relationship, getting that support they need.

I often wonder as nothing is wrong with me and I remain single.confused

No one is perfect.

I know that a lot of CS users are sick/out of work etc. and use CS as a way of socialising. You are upfront about about an accident that happened, take your time and get to know people through chatting.

See how you are getting on, don't let it get you down. This is only one avenue of getting to know someone, sports and other activities are also good ways of meeting someone.

Best of luck to you! wave

You found the forums lol
I was here a while before I knew about them!!
Welcome and sure why wouldn't you be putting yourself out there!
You need to see if YOU like them first before you tell them anything important or private.
If they are worth their salt or even more importantly make you laugh, then you can spill your insecurities...for all you know they might have a disability in the physical side if ya know what I mean lol wink

Nobody is perfect! Not a single one of uswine

The same principles apply across the board.

We all look different, have different personalities, different body shapes, different backgrounds, different financial circumstances and we all choose partners for different reasons. As do you.

Likewise visa versa. Guys will choose you or not choose you for a variety of reasons and if by chance they do not choose you it may not be for the reason that you suspect.

Go for it.

It is only a temporary eye patch. You said your eye would be healed in a few months.
If you meet someone you like enough to go on a date with in the meantime, I'm sure you will have told him the story, and if he still wants to meet you, then there's no problem.

An eye patch wouldn't be bad... but a third arm growing out of your fore head would be a deal breaker.
