Does anyone know what to do about birds living (and making noise during the night) in your attic?

Do you have a local wildlife service that may be able to help with advice or with removing them? wave

They shouldn't be nesting at the moment - go to your attic, make sure no bird is still inside and close off the hole they are coming in. wave

Not a good thing for your health, and it will get worse. For the holes, use window screen. Some stronger birds, including the little pest ones, will pull it apart to get by. So you may have to mix a little cement plaster to keep them at bay. Good luck!

If it's hopeless with too many places or you just want instant relief till spring, toss some mothballs up there. Just about every critter hates them.

Or banish your least favorite cat for a few nights in jail.

Try to send them here? They're looking for warmth.

Thanks for those tips. I lost my cat about a year ago, a pity as he would have done the trick alright.

Yeah, the ones that fly?
Will you come to Galway and ask them to leave for me? I hear you are a bird-whisperer.

Ah!!! You could be on to something. I thought it was odd as well. The only alternative I thought was maybe mice but the noise was much too loud for mice to make. Bloody bats are protected aren't they?

Don't know about Spain,Dani, but bats are a protected species here.
Feeding them with rat poison would be better kept secret.
