Yes it changes either for the better or for the worst.. take plenty of time communicating online or phone before taking your time to meet..By doing this I have not had any bad experiences.. tho I am no pro.
I say just take your time, if they disappear, That could be a good thing..

Yes it is, I met a guy on here in 2013
He was the most genuine guy I ever met
The whole package, I seen how real love is with him. We took a break not by our own choice
He died in 2015 age 36
Broke my heart
I'll never meet anyone like him again
He was a rare breed
So definately there are genuine ones out there, good luck

Until you actually meet someone in person it is not possible. On the other hand, fantasizing about true love found on the internet is entirely possible and happens every day.

Love is a big word. I think it can only develop after knowing someone for a while.It is possible to get to know someone well enough to be willing to meet and see if there is a mutual connection.
