Thank you. Not sure if I will be alone at christmas, yesterday a chess-friend of mine visited me, as usually he was drunk.
He's a millionair, since his father died this year.
He even gave me 40 euro's. I told him it will be used as sponsoring for the school-chesstournament I organise yearly. I also invited him to join me on christmas dinner the 25th, for he is alone, having troubles with his brothers.
But I'm not sure if he can remember it after his drunk adventure yesterday, so I'll call him tomorrow.
Somehow it seems he's always drunk, sad but true.
Maybe I can convince him to stop drinking for a month at the 1st of january, I'm planning to quit for a month at the 8th, for the 7th is my birthday.
But it also depends on if I get a new job, lately my boss decided my office would be on the -2th floor in stead of downfloors, it looks like a prisoncell to me, so I decided to look for another job.
When I leave, I will leave with a bang, and my boss won't be happy with it, but I don't care. Through the intranet I will tell exactly how I think about what happened.
So next year will be a year of changes. Never the less I will be in south-east asia for 2 months, travelling and having fun. That's mostly possible because our schools have a holiday for 6 weeks and the first and last week the kids don't have time for chess. I hope to get more schools to teach the next schoolyear, teaching children is a thankful job and the children show it.

Happy Christmas Serene, I have spent one or two Christmas's on my own, it can be nice and peaceful, it's never bothered me.
Today I arrived at a Buddhist centre, a short walk from the coast on the edge of the beautiful English Lake District. . I'll be here over the Christmas period so I'm guaranteed a pleasant peaceful time over the next seven days.
