HotrodLarrys: I have not done any studying on them, so I am not much aware of that...

One thing I do know, is I had a garden this past summer, and never saw one honey bee.. they has something like sweat bees pollinating my plants. I see inthewoods just posted something about bees going extinct, I have heard that for a few years.. I see fewer and fewer where I live. I really think it would be a super idea to get some...
Honey bees are attracted to in the woods grin

Yeah.
Recent studies showed at least some of the Irish honeys had at least the same properties as manuka (anti-bacterial etc) but manuka has marketed itself as a world leader.

Ireland was one of our early markets . Hopefully the market will last for awhile , A lot of damage was done with suppliers selling low grade honey in a high grade jar , government got involved , it broke a few fly by nighters .

rather woman were using this stuff than botox , $2500 though , botox might be cheaper

I think it's best to get honey locally if you can, the closer to your home as possible... if you have allergies, the local pollen might help with allergies, I don't have any allergies, but I do have a local supply of raw honey, I don't buy honey from someplace far away, thats been heated and filtered, this Black Forest honey is good...

ali110: I am thinking to have a couple of Honey bees boxes at my Farm , there is unlimited sources for Honey bees to produce Pure honey , we have plenty of fruit and vegetables farms here , as well as being a farmer I think I should have honey bees , any idea ?
It sounds like a great idea--just go into it knowing that it is more labor-intensive than one might think. Generally, you will need professional clothing/netting, a centrifuge, jars with good caps, perhaps a helper or two seasonally. (I knew a guy in Washington who was a "honey farmer" full-time. Also, you will need to have a good rapport with small grocery stores to advertise and sell the products--one very good point: honey is a high-priced item here in the United States, but the farmers sell out every time.

There is a lot of info out there, some good, some bad. You will also have to learn some sanitary techniques. Raw honey can ferment and that is not good, even poisonous.

I suggest you find someone who is doing it. The locals I know here are more than happy to share knowledge, as it makes for sturdier bees for everyone. I've gone with one of them on several 'harvests'. where wild bees have made a colony that was a nuisance for the property owner.

Rather than calling an exterminator, I suggested calling the 'bee man'. Problem solved and no poisons. Free bees for the bee-man (workers will join another queen's hive no problem). I thought it would be creepy to have hundreds of them crawling on me, but not really. If they are excited, smoke makes them docile.

We are being invaded by the Africanized breed, coming up from Latin America. They are more aggressive than the European bee. In your hot climate, that may be what you have mostly. That's why I say to get with another farmer. Leave a note on a hive if nothing else.
