Feel free to listen to songs, post unique songs, chat, flirt, post pics. say hello, comment on songs if you remember them or like them, enjoy yourselves, but please no arguing, or negative posts...Just Enjoy some old time favorites...So what I am saying is, this first song is not a one hit wonder but:
This is one crazy song... Horrible, unique, silly... Everything you need for this thread... JAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJJAJA... It's titled: "I want to put you in four"...
This was a very big hit when I was a teen. What I love about this song is how the sad lyrics are in such contrast to the upbeat music especially the drum line. It's hard not to tap your feet to this number. There's a line in the song where the girl is saying to the guy she's dumping about the new guy "He's tall, dark and you know how it is." My first thought was "How the hell is he supposed to know how it is?"
Here is another one... My boyfriend at the moment (A cowboy/bodybuilder from Bama, jajajajajaja) posted it (dedication and all, jajajajajajajajajaja) for an ex of mine that was doing everything he could to get in the middle of us to get me back... I was trying soooo hard to remember the lyrics... And I finally found the song!...
HotrodLarrys: Cherokee People Paul Revere and the Raiders
It might have been unique and forgotten, but they were definitely not a one hit wonder. Paul Revere and the Raiders had 21 Billboard top 100 hits between 1961 and 1973.
secretagent09: Cranky.............Exile was a one hit wonder right?
I know you didn't address me, but yes Exile was a one hit wonder, I remember that song quite well, and I enjoyed listening to it again... I just listened to all of them....Good Choice... My pet squirrel woke me up...one got in my garage and has been making noise..I left the doors open for a bit, I hope he went back out.. It is cold here.. I will open the doors again...

Pretty much. They did have one other top 40 hit from the same album as Kiss You All Over.
The Grammy awards of 1966 might have been the most head scratching moment in a long history of WTF courtesy of the Grammys. The Best Rock & Roll Recording category in 1966 included several future classics: "Eleanor Rigby" (The Beatles), "Good Vibrations" (The Beach Boys), "Last Train To Clarksville" (The Monkees), "Cherish" (The Association) and "Monday Monday" (The Mamas and the Papas). Instead, this long forgotten one hit wonder was chosen:

Melody, the first song you posted was in spanish so I didn't get much meaning out of it, but thats ok...
But the second one was GREAT, I had heard that song before only a couple of times before, but it is so funny It was release in 2009, but rarely ever played here on the radios that I recall...It was great for the right person...
