I read 2 or three Louis L'amour when I was an early teenager. I was swept away....the detail, the authentic voice....completely captivating. Def one of the best western writers ever.

Yes, I totally agree, have about 15 books of him, only a few where in dutch, so also have some english books and always wanting more.Even Kid Rodelo, one of the best he wrote (from the 15 I know) is in a movie, unfortunately only the beginning of the movie is on Youtube. Would love to see that movie.

Yes, but for the contrast black and white can even be better, I once found a b/w tv and I had it for a long time. I loved it. As long as the screen is good.
