pat8lanips: Fat means overweight, curvy is a polite way of saying overweight. Thus, curvy is a way of saying fat. No way an attractive woman would have curvy on her profile.
That is your opinion!
I have seen plenty of curvy voluptuous extremely attractive women in relationships and adored by their partner ...

Fat has a pejorative connotation and is a word ill used. Someone who has put on a couple of pounds might describe it as 'getting fat' which is nonsense!

Just because you are attracted by physically slimmer women does not mean that curvier people are ugly...

Overweight tends to be used when the extra weight on top of what is qualified as average might affect the person's health ...

Weight and charts are a bit arbitary ...
I was considered 'underweight' for most of my adult life in the UK just because the English chart said so. In Spain where being 'petite' is just as 'normal' as any other size, I was considered normal weight ...

How does it disturb your peace that some women write 'curvy' on their profiles? confused

Well I'm sure there are people missing limbs or in wheelchairs in loving relationships too, but thats not usually what folks set out to find on internet dating. So people use language like unencumbered by the rettraints of functional limbs, or disabled parking enthusiast.
But if they also have- bubbly, few extra pounds, likes eating out, voluptuous, curvy etc etc... then one can make the assessment they're a bit fat as well.

OnlyLiveTwice: Language and grammar is complex, and meanings depend as much on the user, as on the dictionary definition.

For instance, exactly what does the word 'curvy' mean?
Well, I guess with today's "culture" of fluidity...you can not be sure exactly how to measure anymore...
Some say plus size when it's grotesque...so curvy might be anywhere in between...overweight and fat...

And it suppose to be...
But is it the truth of what has been said online and what's seen in reality?

It means never let anyone tell you're not good enough; debase everything good in this world if that's what it takes.

Well that would be confusing, if the bigger girls all start describing themselves as a piece of string. But people would work it out prety quickly, and we'd be looking for yet another way of saying the same thing without using the f-word...
