I rather think that people in general are fully aware of the dangers of this latest virusThe Asian flu outbreak caused an estimated one million to two million deaths worldwide and is generally considered to have been the least severe of the three influenza pandemics of the 20th century.
We then had SARs in 2003 though not as severe. All of these viruses from China. Scary stuff.
