I'm sure I've felt jealous, but I made my peace with that emotion long ago.
I was always amazed at those guys who would express envy seeing some guy drive past in a fire-engine Ferrari. Iwould look at it, and imagined the ridiculous thousands the guy would have to pay in maintenance and garaging/insurance charges just to keep the thing on the road. And what for?....so he can drive down the main road, and indulge in the imagined envy of the public? It all seemed a little silly to me.
I'll stick to something practical and debt-free.
I was always amazed at those guys who would express envy seeing some guy drive past in a fire-engine Ferrari. Iwould look at it, and imagined the ridiculous thousands the guy would have to pay in maintenance and garaging/insurance charges just to keep the thing on the road. And what for?....so he can drive down the main road, and indulge in the imagined envy of the public? It all seemed a little silly to me.
