did you live through the troubles and experience the horrers .?

or were you outside of area .?

some may be born and reared in n.i.
some may leave , various reasons.

the fashion reminds me of the times that were in it.
donned similar style myself those days.
brings back memories.

Yes I was here in Belfast and Iwas same age as most of the kids in the video, even had the same clothes and hair cut.. Looking back on it, it brings it all into perspective, I'm so glad my kids and Grand kids don't have to endure the same horrors.. Hope you found it interesting..handshake

I wonder if the same kids from the documentary were reinterviewed today, would their perspective have changed?

A friend of mine in the late 70's was from Ireland. We worked together. One day I found another ID of his from Ireland with a totally different name. I asked him about it and he just dismissed it and wouldn't talk about it. I suspected he was either IRA in hiding or an informant in hiding. For a small guy he was as strong as a bull as we would often wrestle and he'd beat me. I couldn't believe his core strength. A regular Conor McGregor he was.

I don't think he has a point, he asked a question and I answered, it's great that the kids today don't have suffer as we did, but that is all down to sacrifices that were made along the way, we still got a long way to go mind..
