Not to detract from the important events mentioned previously, but - maybe the most significant event in human history, is the one which made human history possible at all. The Chicxulub asteroid wiped out all the megafauna in the post-impact nuclear winter. In that, 75% of plant life, and all the dinosaurs died off. The resulting vacuum gave rise to the conditions which allowed the rise of new life forms, one of which was the evolution of homo sapien.
Other than that, the invention of alcohol is certainly right up there in importance.

You made valid points. There are so many factors that are almost hard to believe how things were making history. Think of the mayans for example.

I don't drink beer often but when I do it has to be freezing cold and in the bottle. I don't need a glass because I can chug it faster.laugh
