Seriously speaking we need immigrants as do other countries. Our lower paid jobs in this country such as care work ,hospital workers, hotel workers field labour are mostly covered by immigrants as some Brits are quite happy to be a stay at home giro receiver.
We have had immigrants in this country for centuries as have other countries. It's called diversity. I agree that we have to draw the line somewhere but anyone coming to any country that wants to work and better themselves should at least be given the opportunity. ..J.M.O.

A giro ? Giros haven't been around since the depression era , time to update your knowledge
Also , half of my WHITE family work in , what you call 'low paid work' . Care facilities , hospital (4 members alone in 1building) . Don't generalise . Low paid work maybe to YOU , but it's work , regardless who does it , but saying that it's only migrants ? Wake up , and check yourself . I've yet to see them in hospitals and care facilities ...... but then again I'm in Scotland , England's a bit behind these days so who knows

Sorry if my post offends you.The dole money or job seekers allowance is usually paid into an A/C hence the word "giro"
With regards immigrants, personally I'm all for them and it has nothing to do with colour which I have never mentioned.
Most of our care workers are European and in my opinion they do an excellent job but are not exactly well paid for the hours they commit to the work.
This thread is not about immigrants anyway. I just responded to someone's post in defence of them.
