It’s the photo that stopped people in their tracks – or at the very least, mid-scroll. Holding the stem of an umbrella and gazing into each other’s eyes, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended one of their last royal engagements in London this week sporting royal blue, of course, and the largest of smiles.

Harry and Meghan were at the awards of the Endeavour Fund, which Harry set up in 2012 to inspire and reward sporting and adventure projects for veterans.

It’s the first domestic event the couple have attended together since announcing they planned to step down as royals and split their time between the UK and North America with their son Archie. The family of three has been staying in Canada for the past few weeks, and anticipation was high for what some dubbed the Sussexes’ ‘farewell tour’.

Thankfully, royal and entertainment photographer Samir Hussein, who has captured intimate moments of the royal family for 12 years now, was on hand to photograph their arrival – and regardless of what you think of the royal family or where you stand on ‘Megxit’, I think we can all agree this is a beautiful shot.

Harry has left the Royal circus and moved to Canada with his wife and son

kinda looks doctored to me, I cannot get over their insult to our queen and as a new mum she does not look as if she misses her son, and to add insult to injury they left him at their new home and our queen will not see him nor our duke or the family. I cannot look at them the same after the whole nation welcomed her dunno dunno

He's well and truely under her thumb. Enough to turn traitor to his Grandmother, the Queen and the country he fought for. He was one of the few Royals I used to respect. No more though.

I agree entirely with you, I used to love him for his adventurous spirit his dedication to good works and our queen. I did understand him wanting out of limelight it was the way it was done. Terrible truly. and coming back and not letting queen see the little babe moping

He would not be impressed. Which brings me to my point. Most Americans are not either.

Back in the day, some journalist coined JFK & his wife "Camelot".
But so much has changed since those days. We don't want American royalty or "Political Families", we are sick of it. Generation after generation doh
I think only the media loves it

I don't know where you get your misinformtion from Red, it is widely known that he will divide his time equally between Canada and England, that is him Megham and the baby, together, so Grandma will see a lot of him and the little boy.wine bouquet

It's Meghan with an "n" not an "m"professor

Personally I think we should just let them get on with their lives. Harry has never really dealt with the loss of his Mother in such tragic circumstances. No-one has any idea what it's like to "work" for the Firm. Meghan was and is like a breathe of fresh air whatever one thinks of her.

I'm a Royalist to some degree but can imagine it might be stifling to always be " perfect" to fit in with the protocol of some Royals.

Good luck to them I say.cheering

When did i ever say i don't, the English are noted for their men falling in unconditional love, their royals are just the same. Remember a King gave up his throne for an American woman. Now Harry is in love with a beautiful Americam woman. smitten

Nice pictures.

Kudos to them for being independent thinkers and making a path for their own family.

We all grow up and move out of our parents home and start our own family.

Their. lives should be no different. banana

I agree, Harry was damaged by the way his mother was treated, and her tragic violent death, Megan won't put herself through the same thing, and Harry is trying to make a life for them. I saw on one television interview he was asked how he should be addressed, he said "just call me Harry"
