Clever.

To be fair life in ireland would be rather terrible for hundreds of years before being rescued by the international pity of a guilt-ridden west. The view of Ireland as Europe's Africa is the reason every white person will like Ireland on principle, it's a cause for charity.

Them leaving could be a reason you've been such an underdog this whole time. Ireland seems the most unAmerican country in the modern English world, humble and easier to like because they left.

Ireland is probably the last place in the west that will be as heavily armed as it is medicated. To have lost a certain killer instinct is not all bad news.

Don't know why Pedro picked the 1600s,but that would have been around the time when 250,000 english planters done the smash & grab in this country.

We probably should be grateful to ye...................
