robplum: looking in a mirror I try to cut mine, usually take a chunk out and end up going over the top.
This clipper - trimmer does a really good job.

Tulefell: Hair (and nails) grow on the average 1cm per a month. In 3 months you'll have plus 3 cm of hair. Is it really an issue?

If it is: you can shave now and you'll get a short hair-cut in 3 months.
I had thought of that too as the clippers are taking long time to arrive, it is a shaver really with 4 different combs depending on how long you want the cut.

After my 3 months the virus will still be around so i wont be going to hairdresser or have close contact with anyone until vaccination is found, so the clipper shaver will be god expense

STAY SAFE.

I always found long hair being more practical: you bend it in a bun or a crow nest or make a pony tail in the morning and forget about it until bedtime.

Short hair, on me anyway, needed daily washing (not good for natural moisturizer that there is in hair bottom) and styling products (I loathe to have glue in my hair) and air-drying (drys your scalp to ancient parchment). Plus regular visits to hair-dresser (expenses and time). Nowadays I cut off 3-5 cm when the ends start to dip in water, when I paddle, otherwise my hair is allowed to get as wild as it wants to :)

Stay safe you too!

I did have long hair many moons ago but went white early and dying long hair was a pain. So short since 30s really anyways the cost of the hairdresser would have been the cost of my clippers so all other cuts are free peace

take care teddybear
