HexagonKeySet: Brilliant TV entertainment or psychological cruelty inflicted against a bunch immature adults who'll do anything for their 15 minutes of fame ?

And feel free to broaden the scope to include other similar 'fake reality' shows such as Love Island etc etc etc

I have seen it.
I think some people don't realise love and happiness don't happen instantaneously. It is a never-ending work in progress. Reality shows try to sell something which is not real.

:-) I'm not that difficult to get along with ... problem is that in a place like this (or anything in writing) the other person only sees words ... there no tone, pitch, pace, smile or frown and the other myriad clues we benefit from face to face !
As Molly says ... it's not REAL' as I called it 'Fake reality...' It was a bit of a giggle all round when Cilla used to do 'Blind date'
Check out YouTube where they did the RedNose week contribution ... and Mr Bean was the winning guest !

Just because these things don't happen to you , doesn't mean they don't happen.
People aspire to be famous for no real reason, same as the Kardashians are. The TV producers string them along, promising fame and fortune, then ply them with alcohol to get dramatic footage etc., and if it suits their purposes better to make the person look foolish or devious thats just what they do...
And we the viewing public lap it up, feeling smug and superior. It brings in the advertisers spending the big bucks.
