“but in Utopia, where every man has a right to everything, they all know that if care is taken to keep the public stores full no private man can want anything; for among them there is no unequal distribution, so that no man is poor, none in necessity, and though no man has anything, yet they are all rich; for what can make a man so rich as to lead a serene and cheerful life, free from anxieties; neither apprehending want himself, nor vexed with the endless complaints of his wife?”
bodleing2: You have to applaud his amazing effort, but when did the NHS become a charity and just where exactely will this huge sum of money go?
Well he said at first he was raising money for all nurses etc, but with so much money coming in it had to go under heading of charity NHS. Hopefully will go in food parcels etc for staff as the work well over hours and do not have time to shop.
No doubt is lovely family will see it go the the proper place

Good question,
as long as they don't set up a committee and charge admin fees.
I hope it will go to the NHS trust.
NHS charities are registered with the Charity Commission, but, as they are trusts, they do not have their own legal personality; their NHS body or NHS-appointed trustees are responsible for them.
