well, when life comes back more usual, it will still be keeping distance, more people working from home, a maximum of visitors in pubs, popconcerts etc, so they can keep the distance etc. It's going to be a long time before everything is back to what it used to be.
But see the benefits, the air hasn't been so clean in 200 years, guess in China some people living in the cities saw a blue sky for the first time in their life!!!
Birds that has left the cities are coming back, also other animals.

Regarding pubs ... how can they afford to remain open and in business if they have to limit numbers of people inside? Most pubs and bars inside restaurants here make most of their money on Friday's and Saturday's around here. It is usually standing room only in those areas. I’d think It will probably cost the pub owners more money Just to stay open if they have to limit seating. Interesting thread. I believe that businesses formerly marginal or struggling, will just quit for good, or for the foreseeable future. Bars and pubs, etc...will open but uneasily for the remainder of the year. The economy will continue to be affected because of far less spending. People will be very hesitant to use credit, buy new cars or take out mortgages. It will be similar, though in modern terms, to the WWII era of intense scrimping and saving. Jmo

I don't want to see us retaliate economically with China for what the covid19 virus did because that will hurt the Chinese folks and not their government and its leaders. Agree with you and add to that people maybe become less self centred more appreciative of health workers and the world they live in. Death has stared folk in the face world wide, mother nature will go on without them regardless.
