Through the prophecies in the Bible did I become a believer, have been so since 1975.
When I read; "In my Father's house are many mansions, if it where not so I would have told you, I go and prepare a place for you. I simply made my reservation.

So often I have heard this God is an old man who does nothing else all day but write in his book what we have done right or wrong that day
God is spirit and all what you have done right or wrong during your life is stored in your own brain.
It is just like the hard drive in your computer.
When the time comes that you are standing before the Lord, your "hard drive" is going to work and reveal it all.
Oh you don't want to listen to the angels playing the harp all day?
Neither would I, it would drive me soon bonkers.
We will instead be working, yep right you will be given work to do.

And this is why religion comes to look like death in an aging population. We could swerve the pestilence that brings us closer to that old testament god and it's a choice not to today.

Foot steps in the sand..........
One night I dreamed a dream.
As I was walking along the beach with my Lord.
Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life.
For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
One belonging to me and one to my Lord.
After the last scene of my life flashed before me,
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
I noticed that at many times along the path of my life,

there was only one set of footprints.
This really troubled me, so I asked the Lord about it.
"Lord, you said once I decided to follow you,
You'd walk with me all the way.
But I noticed that during the saddest and most troublesome times of my life,
there was only one set of footprints.

He whispered, "My precious child, I love you and will never leave you
Never, ever, during your trials and testings.
When you saw only one set of footprints,
It was then that I carried you."
