First, I am not calling any one person out on this topic, and I have received emails from friends on CS who have asked me about this very thing...we seem to agree, by the way. When I,,we,, see a post that rambles on paragraph after paragraph and into multiple pages, etc...guess what occurs? I shut down. And whatever good might have been gleaned from the tome is lost. So, and I can only speak for myself, if a writer wants this members attention and focus, dial it down to a paragraph or two. I believe many folks see it like this, as well. Just some friendly advise.

Walls of text get on my nerves.. You're right on the edge, OP..
I wouldn't worry about it. The posters you speak of aren't really interested in being read. They only want to post their brain droppings so they can fool themselves into THINKING that someone will actually read it. Think of it as them talking to themselves on a forum.

and to think I was just about to send you all of my research notes on pharmacology, medical shorthand and terminology, U.S. controlled substances law, early practical nursing policy and procedures, and, of course, all Cliffs notes regarding the primary novels of Hawthorne and at least two of the Bronte sisters...you stole my thunder!

thanx, it seems too many idiots are trying to write a book or a documentary. This is not the place, and I can't imagine someone is really reading all the stuff.
