That's the problem with government over regulation, taxation, and control. The people that can live above are mostly okay with it. Places like Hollywood and most of the politicians to be sure. They play every dirty trick to justify it even when it's not remotely justifiable.

Thousands of workers will be out of a job if he changes his mind to re-open the plant. He did state recently that it would open.

That doesn't mean that he won't move every thing when things are ready and in place to do so. We'll have to wait and see what he does for certain. Unless the plants are were already in the works toward expansion, it won't happen too fast.

california has chased a lot of it's middle class out. If Elon follows through with what he says, even more trouble for the state. California already has more debt than they let on annually. They also have the highest population living in poverty. Over 5 million last I read. With over 39 million people, combined with the "pandemic", it won't bode well for many.
