Posters have come and gone....many interesting threads have been created...many are remembered...but the question is... Do men or women...create the best threads?
LeeCharming: Posters have come and gone....many interesting threads have been created...many are remembered...but the question is... Do men or women...create the best threads?
galrads: Whats the unbiased criteria for determining that?
Ok I will layout the criteria.... 1. Excluding your own created threads 2. Check your posting history 3. check how many threads were created by women and how many were created by men 4. work out how many comments you made in total on each thread 5. Add together the number of comments you made on women's threads...then Add together the number of comments you made on men's threads It will take some working out...but it's something to challenge all of you and keep some of you out of trouble
LeeCharming: Any threads you posted on will count...accept your own...what's a negative marking what are multi posters I have noticed some sock puppet accounts recently and seen you posting on their blogs...you obviously condone...banned members...who have been banned too many times to count...coming back to post...when they are still under a posting ban...how can you ever play the moral high ground again
And that 2 to 8 range is why a woman must be made to feel she goes up to 11. It's to break her out of that godforsaken pragmatism that keeps the species alive and well. She's more unique than anyone, very individual - stress that.
mollybaby: Says the poster with more accounts than anybody
Unlike your friends...I don't need another account...cause I say everything I need to with this account...but your buddies sure do like using sock puppet accounts to attack me on my threads and to be honest it really shows their insecurities perhaps you need to speak to them and get their OCD under control...when they officially return to posting...or the cell will be warmed up yet again for them and next time...they might not get out
Personally I just wish someone male or female would start some threads that we can all participate in without being attacked by a load of loud mouthed frogs. The Forums have become awash with attitudes and platitudes lately.
I'm sick of the arguments and "Let's all guess who the Twitter is?"

Who cares.
some of them need the drama fix and jealously plays a part...when some have creative minds...while others have empty minds
Some can't even work out...how to even discuss a rational and mature adult subject...some just want to goof around and say nothing of importance...but if the subject is a serious discussion...those comments stand out like a sore and village idiot springs to mind
The first thing to do is accept thread subject and answer the question if they are asked...the ad hominem has nothing to do with a thread subject...but it is used a lot on threads...a bit of banter is fine...but trying to within the thread subject....leads to a far more mature discourse and a far more productive thread discussion
I get we have some comedy threads and some enjoy that kind of thing...but a variety is always a good thing to have

I find this to e relatively equal...what I DO find, as well, is the region where the threads and posts originate. Ireland and Scotland seem to have really good posters, in the U.S. it seems to be Texas and California. Just my observations...:handshake

Isn't frog a condescending term used by Brits for the people living in France?
btw I thought my thread on the tweeter was on the very light side. Now I know different. I probably shouldn’t post anything else.

What is a really good poster? Is it someone who just likes light banter with humor, someone who takes great care and time to articulate or perhaps people who just like to bloviate? i can’t think of anyone from Tx or Ca posting in the forums lately.

could have been awhile...I’m not sure how to answer your question, so, I’ll pass the baton to you, and why don’t you tell us what YOU think are the traits of “a really good poster”? Then, I and any other interested members can get a baseline from your observations. And we’ll be able to focus in, because now we’ll know exactly what you are getting at and it will be a win/win. Won’t that be great?

Keep posting Galrads Any light entertainment is welcome.
Loud Mouthed Frog was the title of a children's book that I used to read to my kids. It was about a frog who was always talking about himself, and how great he was; the boastful know-it-all frog.

It doesn't matter what I think. I was just asking for your opinion because of what you said in your post on this.
