On this Memorial Day, thank you to the parents who raised men and women to love living in America while they fly the red, white and blue with pride.

Thank you to the brave men and women who willingly joined our military with honor to keep our land free from radicals.

I have total respect for America. Having been there many times and learned about how proud and patriotic the American people are. I may not agree with some things but from my experience over the years meeting American people, they have shown me nothing but respect too. I love seeing the American flags flying everywhere. Even in the small town where I stay when I'm over there...........Yes! I'm missing America right now with all that's going on

The only time that I've never been in America is for "halloween" I've been there "over many years" for all other events. I'm guilty of having a "go" sometimes on this site re Americans but in "real life" I have never come across a disrespectful "American"

Here in Spain, we can fly the Spanish flag, the Union Jack flag or whatever Country you come from. Back in the Uk it's a different story. If you display the Union Jack "British Flag" or the English, Scottish, Irish flags, you are told to take them down so as not to upset other people from other Countries that are living there. It's a total disgrace. I remember going to the air display in Atlantic City boardwalk. It was great. I must admit that I said to my friend, when is the red,white and blue smoke coming out of the planes? I'm not a lover of the Uk right now but our Red Arrows are pretty good.........
