Don't try to order me... got it.

If the US didn't provide supplies, military assistance, manpower, naval backup, medical necessities, and funding along with other allied forces the UK would have lost the war and never even successfully entered Europe. In 2020 your chances of winning anything alone are nil... I would actually love to see the US leave NATO and by removing funding with the state of the EU you would have no allies whatsoever unless Germany could dominate you.

germanspitz: Boris Johnson was born in February 1964 and had a duel nationality certificate American and British. The family moved back to the UK in September 1964 and did not return until 1966 returning to the UK in 1969 so no B.J did not grow up in America . He spent 3 years there pre school.

Get your facts right.
Your full of it
Boris Johnson has renounced his US citizenship, ending years of ambiguous loyalties and probably ridding himself of a hefty tax bill.

A list released by the US Treasury department showed the UK foreign secretary was one of 5,411 individuals to renounce his American citizenship in 2016.
Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson 19 June 1964 New York City, U.S. His citizenship was both British United States 1964 until 2016

robplum: So yes, no country has a right to rule, enforce there will over other countries. People must be allowed to have a say who is to represent their interest, in the same way the founding fathers of American democracy likely intended.

America is of course not the only countries that has repeatedly interfered in the affairs of others.

Most politician in supposedly democratic countries around the world and certainly here in Australia are not representing the will of the people, which is what they are paid to do, a democracy to my mind infers that elected representative is given a persons vote to attend parliament and express the will of the people who voted for there right to represent the voters will, and the leader of elected government is supposed to ensure government implement the will of the people.
In other words a politician in my view takes money promising to listen to the electors and express the opinions of the electors on the floor of the house of representation and expressing there own views is the conduct of a thief..
Well said!
A lot of Countries don't say much because they're just looking after their Country and their people. Politics are just argued within their Country of politics. They watch and listen to what's going on but don't interfere. Why should they when their Country is just taking care of its own. It's when "certain"Countries start "mouthing off" at other Countries. That's where the problems start. Certain Countries just can't seem to leave well alone. Keep to your own Country and sort out your own people before trying to interfere with other Countries. Just my opinion and I'm allowed an opinion. professor

galrads: I agree we need to get our personnel and monies out of the rest of the world except where we are wanted.
To be honest with you Gally. If America was wiped off the face of the earth. The rest of the world would be able to carry on without America.

America is not the only Country that provides aid to other Countries. America is not the only Country that takes in illegal immigrants either. It's just that other Countries just don't go on and on bragging about it. Stop sending money to the poor Countries then. Maybe then Bunker Boy Trump will be able to have more Golf Courses or Hotels in Atlantic City? Make a stand, cut all Countries out. Be on your own seeing that you're supposed to be the Greatest Country in the World? What would you need from any other Countries anyway?

And America ain't looking good right now what with the virus and combined with the riots and looting and yet another "execution" of a black american. You don't even like "Islanders" as you call us/them.........

Oh I like Islanders. I didn’t mean charitable monies for food and emergency relief post natural disasters should be held back. I think monies for NATO and other such things elsewhere should not be spent at home. Most people abroad don’t appreciate our sacrifices. I don’t want to see the u.s. federal gob government bailout liberal states like california and new york.

Miss_Cellaneous: Most of American people don't even know what went on in WW2 only after the bombing of Pearl Harbour in 1941 did they actually come into it, although they were our allies. I must admit that I watch a lot on the History Channel. I can't remember every bit of it though. Roosevelt declared war on Japan after the bombing of Pearl Harbour then Germany declared war on America. Until then, America wasn't even in the war. I get sick to death of hearing how America won the war. I will have to copy and paste this bit though.........

On August 6, 1945, during World War II (1939-45), an American B-29 bomber dropped the world’s first deployed atomic bomb over the Japanese city of Hiroshima. The explosion wiped out 90 percent of the city and immediately killed 80,000 people; tens of thousands more would later die of radiation exposure. Three days later, a second B-29 dropped another A-bomb on Nagasaki, killing an estimated 40,000 people. Japan’s Emperor Hirohito announced his country’s unconditional surrender in World War II in a radio address on August 15, citing the devastating power of “a new and most cruel bomb.”

Enola Gay, the B-29bomber that was used by the United States on August 6, 1945, to drop an atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Japan, the first time the explosive device had been used on an enemy target. The aircraft was named after the mother of pilot Paul Warfield Tibbets, Jr.

How sad
I don't know people think the u.s. should have engaged in armed conflict earlier in wwii than they provided food and military hardware. And why some people think U.S. boys and girls are bread to sacrifice themselves escapes me too. The u.s. suffered more losses than the u.k did and you wanted more of our blood then? smh
