2 or 3 years back in the netherlands there was a fundraising to help the people from Jemen, later that evening we saw on the news that dutch companies where delivering all kinds of weapons to Saudi-Arabia, so they could use those against Jemen. I laughed my willy out of my trousers about all the feeble minded that had given money to the fundraising.
Before the USA was at war with Afghanistan, Russia was at war there, so I don't suppose they gave weapons to the Afghan Army, but I wouldn't be surprised if the USA did. Now the roles are changed.

I think you're wrong about that. These protests will boost support for Trump and get him re-elected. When we see protests on American streets we see a few thousand people in major cities, not the silent majority of the millions who aren't protesting. I think most Americans were disgusted by the police killing but are still very conservative in their outlook.
