Lately I’ve been feeling a little vulnerable, and, yes, I realize that those inner ids are up to us, personally, I still will dare to address this: recently because of several very aggressive-sounding posts, I have felt intimidated to respond perfectly honestly due to the ultra-politically motivated rhetoric on some threads. I should never have to be afraid of how I feel on C.S. The club as it were, insinuates that hurtful conduct will, at length, not be tolerated. I’ve been around a few minutes and understand the human condition. My 2020 wish would be that we strive to be accepting and peaceful

It must be an American thing because it doesn't happen here in the real world..I tend to voice my opinion on the blogs with friendly people..Have had those addicted to alcohol & aspirin read my posts then put up blogs about me..No skin off my nose.. Those having a nervous breakdown because they wish they were me amuses me.

Hi my friend,I fully understand your feelings Rohaan. Unfortunately there will always be those that continue to thrust their own ideology down people's throats, with no consideration for another's difference of opinion. Brain washing springs to mind
Some posts will bring out the anger that has been festering within some people and the pot boils over. What I find unnecessary is the need to personally insult other posters and when you respond they become holier than thou so to speak . Our World today is full of anger and hate and is teetering on the edge of a precipice, and unless people pull together and stop the division in colour ,race and creed we will inevitably destroy humanity. Our differences matter but our common humanity matters more.

if you just don’t “get” the spirit of my post, then you just don’t...I’m satisfied that my meaning was clear, and it DOES appear that others do, as well. What would be a “proper” question of myself? Hey, I recognize that I’ve not always been diplomatic, too. I’ll work on improving my communication, as well. I’ll work on being sensitive to others feelings. I’ll think first before shooting from the hip. I have brambles to clear off my own path, too. I own it. I WILL strive to be considerate.

The self serving aggression displayed on here by some posters is a clear indication of why we have so much disharmony and hatred in this world.
All we can do is ensure that we, indivually, don't allow ourselves to be negatively affected and remain aware that aggression in general and self centered thinking in particular will never make this world a better place.

However a change is slowly happening across the world. An awareness is taking place with a growing momentum.
But while so much ignorance and lack of true awareness presides in the minds of so many, the path to world peace will remain illusive.
Buddhism, as all major religions can only point the way, but the true path to peace and harmony lies within the individual. It could be said, our real purpose on this earth is to become aware of this truth and act accordingly.

There are some on this site who think that because it is a social environment it's okay to be insulting to someone with comments that are intended to be disrespectful and disheartening. When another member reminds them that their comment wasn't nice they will say they were just joking.....he/she should toughen up.
I have seen it in my own real world when people say things to me that they think is jesting but in truth their comment was meant to be making fun of me or just downright insulting. Little by little I learned to ignore those comments and not take the word of someone else to give me cause to question my worth or hurt my feelings.

It all comes down to intent and only the person involved can know the true intent of their words.
