MustangWriter: Ran across this little video. Being a man on dating sites... isn't easy.
That was an interesting video MustangWriter, thanks :) I'm surprised to see no one's made any comments at all... You'd think this is the one thread that everyone would have an interest in.
I noticed her first messages were all. "Hi how are you". and nothing else. That's fine in the real world and all that's needed to break the ice.. However, on a dating site it's probably the worst way to try and start a conversation with a total stranger, because it comes across as"Ah I can't be bothered ".(I'm not sayng they do think that,it's just how it comes across) or, that they no idea how to start a conversation and are hoping/expecting the woman to dazzle them with her conversation and keep it going. I've let conversations die for this reason, far too one sided.
No woman wants a man who's too lazy to write a decent sentence and no woman wants a man who can't hold a conversation. I can't imagine any man would want that kind of woman either.. So I'm not surprised she didn't get any replies.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's all the mens' fault. I know women can be just as bad, if not worse sometimes, I'm just talking about the "Hi how are you" messages from a woman's perspective, that's all..
I'm just glad I'm not in my 20's, living in the US and trying to meet someone via online dating...it must be soul destroying for them. He was a lovely lad too, so I really felt for him when he said it destroys one's confidence.
Thank you for watching the video. I thought it was rather interesting too. I'm just wondering if some women are on dating sites for personal validation from men instead of actual dating.

God I hope not, that'd be an awful way to get any sort of validation.
I know plenty of women, and men (friends), who've used this online dating down through the years. Apart from two or three they all said the same thing, that they wanted to meet someone for something real and long term....
Even the ones who said they didn't want a relationship, or anything more than one night stands, soon changed their tune when they met someone they really liked. It's amazing how fast someone will do a complete U turn when the right person walks in the door and melts them with a big huge smile.

It seems men and women really do't undestand what each other want.
Dating on CS is very hit and miss, but you havea chance to build a relationship on line that could make a real life relationship more possible.
The empathy felt in a forum conversation, can be very real , and the feelings built up are real feelings, although the older members may have difficulty undestanding./

But who knows. Black people are relatively dangerous but whites kneel to that, maybe in a hundred years time women will deliver themselves to the door as a reparation for all your unpaid work.

Here are 2 full time travel vloggers Daneger (Danger) and Stacey from New Zealand, that I subscribe to. They met on Tinder. They are not married as of yet.
I watched the video...but it is possible...that the women...who were messaged were bots...created by the site...cause some dating do this and the reason obviously is to try to keep men on the site...or pay to register with the dating site...
Here is a example...you join a dating site and not even finished creating your profile....but you still get a instant inbox...full of messages from women[bots}...but you will have to pay to message them...so you pay up and reply to those women{bots)...but guess what? No reply...unread and in no time...your inbox is empty
Clever trick...but a wise man... will know about it and not be parting with any cash
What I noticed from years back... First, matching is a joke. The site wants lots of happy customers so they match to anyone and everyone. I had said within 50 miles, no kids, no religious men. The site sent matches in foreign countries, across the continent, guys hung up on their kids, highly religious...so I figured out match is a joke. Second, picking is a beauty contest. Men and women go first by photo. So anyone below average has little chance. Even from below average. I saw it live with a brother in law. He was 5'10, 300 pounds and nothing to look at. Every time he went wow it was a gorgeous babe. Every time he saw a gal who looked like him he cut her to pieces. Talk about the kettle calling the pot black. So below average rejects anyone they could actually date. Sorry, movie star not marrying low life. Third, some people like others like they are hitting the button on the slot machine. Just to see what happens. When someone actually replies, they ignore it. And some view likes back as a score card.look at me. Forth, back to the photo. That person liked me, yuck...not good looking enough for me to bother with. Or if they check profile, find something off to them. Fifth, lack of social graces. Rude. These are the people who when you hold a door for them, sail through like the Queen without a thank you. It is their due for people to grovel at their feet. Manners on dating sites go out the window. Last, not knowing who they want nor what they want. But, certain they deserve the best. Street walker certain if she just could meet HRH they would realize they can't live without her. Or jobless gross guys thinks HRH is dying to marry them. So no matter who replies, they will hold out for better.
