It's not a hate crime at all..Here those who work in the building trade aren't allowed to wolf whistle any more..Nothing to do with hate crime..When I receive wolf whistles I say get back to bloody work..

Do you wolf whistle?
And ladies do you like it or hate it? Tell all .
No but you know what the country is like. The same political hack and chief of police(Alison Hernandez)that tells you to call 999 when there's a wolf whistle also tells you to rely on your own mettle during a terrorist attack.
There are two versions of the law being created by liberals. One that feels like Stalinism and one that feels like chaos, and which law applies depends upon who you are.

Same on building sites here Merc. Quite clearly some women feel uneasy when some greasy fat bricklayer whistles at them. Nor exactly a crime, although it does say more about the whistler than the whistled at.

How do you feel about some like minded people getting up a petition so you can hjave your own live TV shows and radio talk ins, and a few magazine columns and stuff ?
And on the personal level dialling 999 for wolf whistles clashes with fighting off a terrorist attack singlehanded. The latter is talking about a man who had no protection, no insurance and absolutely nothing, to have lived by the skin of your teeth and defied death on an almost daily basis.

The last time I wolf whisled a chic chick, i hadn't noticed her building worker husband nearby, he gave me the fish eye, while i frantically whistled to a stray dog to divert attention from myself.

When I was about 35 - ish..I had an old man get off his bike and walk alongside me . He said he just had to stop and tell me that I had the best legs he'd ever seen and that he was a WW2 veteran and from the generation that knew a good pair of legs......(it was a hot summer's day in the UK and I was wearing very short shorts). I was really taken by surprise and didn't know what to say other than blush and say thanks...that it was very nice of him. We had a little chat and then he jumped back on his back and went off on his way......I still smile when I think of that man. No fella my own age was ever able to beat that man's compliment, it was so genuine....boy did that generation know how to compliment a woman...
