They all moan in the Uk when they get a few hot days over there. Then they moan again when it's cold and pissing down but when they come to Spain, they lie out in the sun for hours on end and end up looking like lobsters and then complain that they're sun burnt and sore

This is true...the British always complain about the rain and when it's sunny...they again complain You have been acclimatized to the hot weather in spain and we would do the same...if it was hot most of the time...but the British would still find something to complain about...
one thing I want to complain about is....the fish n chips is no longer wrapped in newspaper...so I can read the news while I eat anymore

Awww come on now. You can't say that it's not true. Tourist's come over to Spain in the summer months. They lie at the side of the pool all day long, soaking up the sun. They put 1 coat of sun screen on, go under the shower and then in the pool for a dip to cool off, then lie on the sunbeds again and so forth all day because they want a suntan. Then after 2 days, they're burnt to a frazzle and have to cover up and stay in the shade because the fluid starts to come out and they stick to the bed sheets at night. This happens year after year. They are burned, not tanned. It's like putting an iron on your skin, it's the same kind of burn. Then they peel. They don't go brown because they've burned their skin and it's white again after the peeling. I'm not asking you to believe me...........

A typo
To be honest with you Lee. The weather in Spain has been really weird the last couple of years. It's gone from leggings, boots, thick coats etc..to summer clothes. Then back to winter stuff within a few days. It was always lovely from the end of March until November. The last 2 winters have been cold. In fact it's been colder than the Uk on many days. I was in the Uk for Xmas for 5 weeks and thought it was lovely. When I got back home to Spain early January, I was colder here than I was in the Uk.
It's a shame that we can't get fish n chips in newspaper anymore. I would love mine wrapped in The News of the World again
It's lovely to have a mature and wholesome chat Sometimes you can learn about others...with just a simple subject about the weather...by just talking and having it progress into them sharing...things about their lives...
I still want fish n chips in newspaper...but can't decide on the newspaper I want to read
