Well every country got it's own things that they're famous for.
The Netherlands for cloaks, windmills and cheese, and of course the waterworks and the flowers.
England for their humor whiskey and ale, the famous buildings in London, Scotland for it's Haggis, that nobody wants to eat, except the scottish.
Belgium for it's beer and french fries (don't know why they call them french fries), America for it's cars and fat food and fat people, the army, the statue of liberty and the skyscrapers.
Italy for the Pisa-tower, Pizza and spaghetti
And Russia for the Kremlin and Russian Roulette.

Well, let's hear it...

Ireland is mostly famous for it's red-headed people, well, when I was in Ireland about 5 years back, I ddin't see much red-haired people.
Of course also for the Irish Whisky.
Unfortunately the national sports with the big wooden spoon, hurling, isn't famous in the rest of the world, it's funny to watch.
When I was in Ireland I first saw an amateur-competition where one guy got the spoon full on his helmet. While he was staggering across the field anonther opponent run past him and put his shoulder under the chin of the swaggering guy. Well, he went down... rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

Well, it's a problem, we have coffeeshops which are legal and may have about 500 grams in the shop. But delivering cannabis to them is a crime. Lately about ten cities tried to start up their own plantations of cannabis, putting the criminals out of the game. Now we'll have to wait if it works. The cannabis delivered by the criminals is way stronger, officially declared a hard-drug now. So I hope the production by regulation works. It also will be good to keep the taxes as low as possible, and the dutch taxes are the highest in Europe already.
In most pubs and public areas smoking isn't allowed, also smoking cannabis. I think within 50 years nobody smokes and the cigarettes-industries is gone forever. I hope so, for smoking is very dangerous.

Don't know if you saw the movie Behind enemy lines with Gene Hackman, and not sure if it was filmed in Serbia, but I loved the landscapes there.

Okay, need to go there once then. The story ain't very brilliant, but the landscapes gave the movie it's great looks.
But it can wait till they speak proper English there, once been in the Czech trpublic, didn't like it very much.

maybe yes and maybe no. I often say we're just like cattle waiting to get butcherd by the government, nobody says anything. Maybe we have a few demonstrtions, but that's it, after the demonstrations we go sit down and wait while the government is still butchering us.
In the past we had a minister of finances, Onno Ruding, and what ideas the government came with he used to say: We have no money so it can't be done. And how much they jumped and shouted it didn't bother him. No money is no money. He was by far my favourite politician, allthough he was in the wrong party.
Most ministers come with idiotic plans and think they just can steal more money from it's citizens. Not in the time of Ruding.
I think more politicians should follow his policy.
