The Swedish Gouvernement believes that group immunity is the best way to beat Covid 19. Sweden has taken a controversially relaxed approach to COVID-19. It has not initiated a nationwide lockdown to flatten the curve. Instead, Sweden seems to be pinning its hopes on herd immunity to stop the transmission of the virus through mass infection.The idea is if more people are infected and obtain antibodies, people will eventually gain immunity to the virus. The country has kept restaurants, schools, and gyms open and urged its residents to social distance and wash their hands.

Exactly, a month ago, Sweden had recorded 46,814 confirmed cases and 4,795 deaths from coronavirus, putting it among the worst hit countries in Europe....

I think that’ve said it before: the original goal was to “flatten the curve” in order to skip a “jam” of cases, that the health care wouldn’t be able to manage.
What makes Sweden so special is that it managed to flatten the curve without lockdown: people did follow the recommendations and still following. The health care never been so overwhelmed that it had to deny treatment because of the lack of capacity.
It’s too early to say whether it’s the right strategy: the pandemic isn’t over yet.

Molly can you provide us with a demographic breakdown of the people getting the virus in Sweden?
Is ts mainly crowded immigrant communities that are the worse affected, or are people who are living their life while maintaining reasonable social distancing causing the high numbers? Thanks.

Why does nobody understand that the only way to fight this and other diseases it's to use DPB (dynamic postprandial balance).
No bacteria or yeasts in the gut = a very strong immune system.

Though what I know is: certain types of gut bacteria support immune system and there's a lot of information on the subject for those, who care to google.

Why should Sweden go in a "lock down" when they're not one of the most infected "Countries" Sweden isn't "Special" at all. Compare the deaths in the US, Uk, Brazil, Italy, Spain to Sweden..............Hope this helps.......Quite a good source re infections and deaths.......

Sorry but that is total rubbish. A month ago it was Italy, then Spain and then the Uk took top place in the EU. Sweden didn't even come into the equation . Again these are the numbers.....------ This thread is Archived ------
