I was kicked out of school when I was 13, I had meningitis that nearly killed me, and the school said the two months I was out of school, I couldn't come back, so they rather kicked me out then let me stay in school for an extra year. For the gouvernment would pay less money for me.
Cranky_Geezer: I made the honor roll every semester despite being stoned 24/7 and playing hooky at least half a dozen times a year. Never had detention, either.
They felt that I would make a very good Auto Mechanic which is what I wanted to be and they were not required to advise me or encourage me to aspire to anything more than that, and they didn't! Who once said that a mind is a terrible thing to waste They sent me to Roberts Technical and Trade School from were I graduated with honors. It was a private school for Auto Mechanics and it was vastly superior to High School in that we students worked on real cars. It was a welcome change to be in a classroom full of adults. What a difference!
I must admit I was a messer in school, I never took it serious. ......oh yeah a girl I knew from school told me all the girls in my class fancied me, I was unaware of this
Never got into too much trouble I'd just stroll in around lunchtime wearing a vintage Soviet Union olympic tracksuit. All my real school uniform was always in the wash.
