It was a quote from a book by James Hollis as I explained.

And he certainly didn't claim 'love' to be a transient psychosis.

profession takes a similar approach. According to the Hippocratic Medicine view,

passionate love will almost always fade or turn into 'love melancholy' — this is a form of

depression or sadness.
