be discerning about what you care others may think or say. If they aren’t paying your bills nor are in any way impacted by your drinking, why, what’s it to them? And, what’s it to you how they think?

well, I like beer, and I drink more than I should. Especially now with the lockdown and covid 19 crisis. Makes that me an alcoholic? No, I don't think so, if I decide to stop right now for one whole year, I've no problem with that, have done it before. First started with one month, later I quit drinking for 3 months, and then for a year. Lately I think I should drink less, so who knows, the time of quitting for a year is not far away. Actually in January I was also sober for a whole month. Not the best month, for I'm celebrating my birthday in january. And while quitting, if I have alcohol in the house it will stay there for the whole period I'm quitting.
An addiction is only what your mind tells you, I'm stronger than my addictions. Quitting smoking never was a problem, quitting gambling neither.
Some people have a picture in their mind about who and what someone else is supposed to be. It doesn't matter if they know the person or not. Whether you are or not, it's no ones business only your own and until someone asks for help for whatever demons they have, don't offer the help. It won't be appreciated. And heaven forbid that someone should be ..... gasp!.... wrong about their opinions.
All good here, chilling out and taking it easy. I won’t entertain the beach today. Absolutely rammed with people. Crawling like soldier ants all over the place.
One shop here has run out of booze??, shelves stripped bare so they have closed for the day!
When the sun comes out in this country alcohol sales go sky high. Brits are a nation of boozers for sure, and guzzle like it’s their last one

Have a great day, Pedro!!
Well said Taralyn ....and so so true too, People are so quick to think they "know" someone online when in actual fact they haven't the first clue.
