Hugs can make you happier Oxytocin is a chemical in our bodies that scientists sometimes call the “cuddle hormone.” This is because its levels rise when we hug, touch, or sit close to someone else. Oxytocin is associated with happiness and less stress.10 Apr 2018
I am a gregariousperson and hug everyone, being unable to express this has made me feel drpressed
Am I alone in this or does anyone else feel the same???
I’ve posted on here before about this but I’ve really struggled with the no hugs
I’m so used to greeting family and friends in this way I will never take a hug for granted again
Recently I got to cuddle my niece and it was like winning the lotto but now that our numbers are rising again that will probably be last one for a while

I like to hug people, but I'm not used to it, I never got hugs during my youth, and I barely hugged my girlfriends. Now sometimes I hug my nieces, but somehow I feel a little clumsy then.
I like a hug from people I'm personally close to but when a stranger, who I've never met before hugs me, I cringe. I don't want people in general to even touch me....not even to a nudge on my arm.
