To be honest Gal. I love the term "sweetie" that's the term he uses now. I've never liked the term "Baby" I even call my friends male/female sweetie pie. Shall I call you "goober" from now on then? I've never heard of that saying.

Hi Ms. C
OMG...........I hate the word sweetie. I also hate it when a man calls me doll. It's usually men from a much older generation.
When I'm in a romantic relationship I like it if he calls me baby but not babe.
My favorite term of endearment is honey. I use that all the time if I love him.....IF I love him.

I thought it may have been just me that hated it I also hate being called "Dear" My friend now calls me by my name but with loads of zzz's on the end or Ma'am. I quite like being called Ma'am. I know it's an American saying but sounds much better than Babe or Baby
