Here is the latest. The officer that shot him has been identified. Only the one officer fired shots while he was holding on to his shirt with one hand. Apparently Blake admitted he had a knife on him. They had tried to taser him, but it didn't disable him. I agree 7 shoots is a lot and I wish the officer had not shot him at all.

This thread was never about the crime if one HAD been committed, it was about the extent that the U.S. Police force are now going to in apprehending suspects.

Yeah, but the last 4 years have taught us that we better stock up on arms...Yes he did have a knife, and as they say, the fool brought a knife to a gun fight...I'm now interested to see what drugs were in his system..
