tomcatty: That's two of my posts you have answered Butter, people will talk, yeh i know what you mean, proper beard or clean shaven.either but not scruffy.
People have very little going on if they are talking about us
RedHeadedTaurus: I'm fond of facial hair on a man as long as it's kept neat and tidy ...
I like moustache and beard, trim, no grizzly Adams all over the neck, etc... I met a guy yesterday, as handsome, fit as the day is long, but he had a rumlestiltskin beard that just wrecked his otherwise good looks.
I like decent beards. Wanted dad to grow one. He had pure white hair. He said what do you want me to look like, Santa Claus? Some men look better, some are so handsome, shouldn't cover it up. My late husband had a chin beard. Never knew him before it. Decided from what I felt, needed one. He had no chin!! His brother had one of those rat nests to his chest. Finally when he got married, his wife said trim it or else. Way better. I can't understand the Rip Van Winkle beards. How many birds are nesting in there anyway. Nor the ones where they go nuts with wings and curls and weird stuff. OK, artistic expression but don't get angry when I laugh at that handle bar. The actor that plays Aquaman looks great with his beard and hair. And not that hot without. Funny thing is, men on TV look great with long hair and such. In real life, I can't like it. My guy has the beard that runs along bottom of face with mustache. Keeps it so trimmed it is rough. I like it a bit longer. But, his face, his way.

FabAngel: never ever ever......have i made that quite clear....never ever never!!!!!
Well, got a moustache à la Lemmy Kilmister from Motörhead since one year. Last year my mom went to the hospital with aserious problem, her aorta was leaking. She almost didn't make it. In the month she spent in hospital, I had not much time to shave, so I decided to let my moustache grow. Then everyone told me it suited me so well, so I decided to keep it. Somehow I think as long as my moustache is there, it will be okay with my mom.
But, if I meet the right woman, and she doesn't like my moustache, well, then it's gone the next day.
I try and keep mine rather short. When I grew my hair long (cut it last year) I tried growing my beard long too. Soon I looked like an extra from Duck Dynasty. It got too 'peeky' on my skin (kind of like a sweater) so I kept my beard short and managable.
I like clean shaven or beards, depends on the guy. I also like the scruffy face, a goatee..... Not feeling the Duck Dynasty look - - too much everything. Again, all depends on the guy.......
